India's space agency, ISRO, has announced that it is working on several big-ticket space projects following the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3. ISRO is preparing for the launch of Aditya-L1, India's first dedicated scientific mission to study the sun, in early September. Additionally, ISRO is planning an abort mission demonstration for Gaganyaan, India's first human spaceflight mission, in late September or early October. The projects mark the beginning of a "golden era" for India's space programme, according to ISRO's head S Somanath.
