Two Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorists were killed in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian on Saturday. The encounter was carried out by joint teams of Indian Army, J&K police and CRPF. IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said one of them was involved in grenade firing & killing of civilians. Security forces had launched a cordon-and-search operation in Shopian’s Chowgam area after inputs were received about the presence of terrorists in the area, said a police official. The search operation turned into an encounter when terrorist opened fire on the security forces. Watch the full video for more.
